PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR INNOVATION, R&D, AND FUZZY PROJECTS

Innovation, Research, and Fuzzy projects differ from normal business projects, the most significant being lack of clear requirements and ability to plan output from the start of the project.

Conventional project management methods may fall short in leading these projects effectively. While there is tremendous pressure on organizations to innovate, the project managers responsible for managing may sometimes be lost in absence of a well-defined project management method, processes, and tools.
