2022 has been declared the Year of Nutrition by the Africa Union. The Africa continent is facing an existential crisis with malnourishment. The consequence on the growth of the continent is estimated to from 2 to 79% of GDP depending on the country.

On the occasion of Africa Day celebrated on the 255th of May, and in line with UN SDG Goal 2 which is End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture, Project Management Institute Region 16(Africa) chapter is pleased to provide you a webinar on the theme: Project management in strengthening resilience in Nutrition and Food Security in Africa

Our Keynote speaker Brian Stephenson is principal and founder of Qodesh CM, a civil engineering firm in Baltimore, MD (USA), A long-time advocate for appropriate technology and sustainable development, Mr. Stephenson is the founder and President of Passion of Hope International, a nonprofit organization deeply committed to sustainable development, community empowerment, and improving the livelihoods of those bound by the chains of poverty.

He will share his experience helping different countries and communities across Africa to build required capacity to achieve better nutrition and agriculture. Having led different projects across the continent he will give the audience insight on key challenges facing social projects and share his experience with running projects with Passion for Hope.
